The warranty period starts upon taking delivery of your new Sharmax vehicle
During the warranty period, Sharmax service centers will provide repair services for your vehicle. Vehicles and parts that have a factory defect and are repairable will be repaired free of charge
Parts that cannot be repaired will be replaced free of charge
If an authorized Sharmax Dealer replaces or repairs any parts under this warranty, the warranty will be extended to cover those parts for the remainder of the original warranty period
How To Keep Your Warranty Valid
We want to keep things simple and transparent. Here is how you can ensure your warranty stays valid:
Service On Schedule: Always get your services done according to the schedule we've provided. Make sure these are completed on time and only at centers authorized or approved by Sharmax
Authorized Repairs and Maintenance: When it comes to repairs and regular maintenance, use only authorized Sharmax service and repair centers. They have the expertise and equipment to handle your needs precisely
Document Your Services: Keep your service record up-to-date in the Owner’s Manual. After each service or maintenance visit, ensure it’s properly logged and stamped by an authorized Sharmax dealer. This record is your proof of proper maintenance and is crucial for maintaining your warranty
When Warranty Does Not Apply
Your Sharmax warranty is designed to protect you against manufacturing defects, but there are some situations where it doesn't cover issues. Here’s what to keep in mind:
Normal Wear and Tear: Items that naturally wear out over time, such as:
Brake shoes, brake pads
Drive chains, sprockets
Clutch plates, race bearing kits
Gaskets, rubber or plastic components
Wheel rims (if misaligned or bent)
Air cleaner elements, oil filters
Electrical items like bulbs
Non-Genuine Parts: Using parts or accessories that are not approved by Sharmax, which could affect the performance and reliability of your product
Abuse or Improper Use: Premature wear of engine parts like cylinders, pistons, valves, and bearings due to improper use
Environmental Damage: Damage from extreme weather, sea breeze, or pollution that causes rust or deterioration of paint and plating
Improper Maintenance:
Not using or replacing recommended engine oil/lubricants at suggested intervals
Services performed at unauthorized third-party dealerships or service centers
Failing to perform scheduled services, either free or paid
Misuse or Neglect: Parts damaged due to misuse, accidents, negligent treatment, or use of low-quality parts not manufactured or recommended by Sharmax
Consumables: Items like engine oil, TFF oil, and grease used during warranty repairs are not covered
Routine Maintenance and Adjustments: Such as engine tune-ups, decarbonizing, carburetor cleaning, and adjustments to wheels, brakes, and clutches, as well as installation of accessories or modification equipment are not covered by warranty unless otherwise stated in your sales agreement and warranty annexes.
